The TV anime Houshin Engi (temporary title) is set to air in Jan. 2018, and new members of its supplemental cast have been revealed including Furukawa Makoto, Nakamura Yuichi, and KENN!
This series is based on the manga of the same name by Fujisaki Ryu, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1996 and 2000. Set in China’s Ming dynasty, this adventure takes readers on an adventure across ancient China.
This will be the 2nd anime adaptation, and its main cast includes Ono Kensho as protagonist Taikobo, as well as Maeno Tomoaki and Sakurai Takahiro. As for the additional cast, Furukawa Makoto will play Nataku, Nakamura Yuichi will play Youzen, and KENN will play Kou Tenka.
