The upcoming TV anime series for Violet Evergarden will be available on Netflix (in Japan) beginning Jan. 1, 2018!
A highly anticipated adaptation, Violet Evergarden is a light novel written by Akatsuki Kana. The story follows the curious life of Evergarden Violet, an Auto Memory Doll who worked for the military and is now struggling to adapt to civilian life.
The series won the grand prize in the 2014 Kyoto Animation Awards for the novel category. Picked up by Kyoto Animation, those outside of Japan will have to wait until spring 2018 to begin watched. However, 3,500 lucky Anime Expo 2017 attendees were lucky enough to get into an advanced screening of the first episode!
Ishidate Taichi will be serving as director, while Yoshida Reiko is handling series composition. The theme song for Violet Evergarden will be “Sincerely” by TRUE.

Koyasu Takehito (as Hodgins Claudia) - Tales of Zestiria the X (as Lunarre)
Namikawa Daisuke (as Bougainvillea Gilbert) - Beck (as Tanaka Yukio)
Endou Aya (as Baudelaire Cattleya) - Lucky Star (as Takara Miyuki)
Uchiyama Kouki (as Blue Benedict) - Kimi to Boku (as Asaba Yuuta)
